Throughout my 30 years at FIT, helping customers to keep more of their money by preventing back and other sprain/strain injuries, it has been necessary to occasionally assess our business operations to keep us corrected and on track.
Despite intentions otherwise, things, big and small, can deviate without even being noticed. And unintentional operational changes, usually don’t end up being for the better. I recently re-established the goals and purposes of the company so that we are all going in the same direction and so that our customers can attain their goals (and beyond) as it relates to slashing workers’ comp costs and lost workdays caused by musculoskeletal injuries. The next corrective action was to envision an ideal operational scene for the company. In other words, in a perfect world, how do I want this company running, i.e., the quality and volume of the Backsafe® and Sittingsafe® injury prevention services we provide, employee satisfaction, etc. I then honestly compared our existing operating scene as it exists today to this ideal operational scene. The quest was to narrow the gap between the ideal and the existing operation. This encompassed evaluating the good points and the negative points, so to bolster the successful points and eliminate the negative aspects, i.e., things that waste time, money, unnecessary procedures, non-productive team members, etc.
Any successful operation has to keep employees healthy and maintain good morale. After 30 years we have figured what no other company has ever been able to consistently do: affordably prevent the most expensive workers’ comp claims—backs, shoulders, and other ergonomic injuries. If you have a goal of keeping more of your profits, and reducing lost workdays, we got your “back” on this one! Please do not go another year of tolerating budget busting back claims. Call me (1-800-775-2225) to discuss. It is a true win/win for management and employees. |
